COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Valley’s Edge has been designed for the land and the people who live here. As early as 2007, a vision for open space conservation and a recreationally-oriented mixed-use master plan began to emerge as residents and organizations in the community shared ideas, insights, and interests. Over the past decade, hundreds of site tours have been conducted to familiarize residents, neighbors, interested groups, officials, and agencies with the property and gather thoughts and ideas on making Valley’s Edge a special place in Chico. The goal of Valley’s Edge is to bring families and people together to live, work, and play in a community surrounded by a park.
